11、th,cannotbreatheinthebladeisappliedinplants.Iknowhowshouldprotectplants.书上说：”凡是有生命力的东西都要呼吸。，我想：人和动物呼吸是有可能的，可植物怎样呼吸呢?为了证明书上的话，我确定做个试验。我从家里选择了六片”马蹄莲这种植物的叶子。它们都是非常健壮，长得绿茵茵的。我把它们分成两组来做试验。我在第一组的三片叶子的叶片上面匀称地涂上了凡土林。在其次组的.三片叶子的叶片下面匀称地涂上了凡士林。两天后，我发觉：第一组和叶片没有什么改变,因为在植物的叶片上，生有很多小孔，叫气孔。各种植物的叶片上、下表皮的气孔有多有少，一般叶片上的气孔下表皮比上表皮多。植物就是通过这些气孔汲取空气中的二氧化碳和氧气。用凡士林涂在叶片上后,气孔被封闭了，使空气不能从气孔通过。植物用于制造养料的能源（阳光）大都照在叶面上，而凡士林的涂层不能阻挡阳光。另外，水从根部通过茎部运输上来，也不受凡士林的影响，所以叶面涂有凡土林的叶片不会受任何影响。其次组的叶片出现枯萎现象。因为叶片背面涂有凡士林，植物的气孔又大多生长在叶片背面，阳光一般照不到叶片背面，空气既不能从气孔进入，又不能从气孔排出去，所以叶片会很快枯萎。通过做这个试验，我知道了植物主要是用叶片背面呼吸，不能在叶片背面涂一些阻碍植物呼吸的东西。我从中知道了应怎样爱护植物。
