Editorialpolicies2.1 PeerreviewandeditorialpolicyThejournalsgeneralreviewpolicyistoobtainatleasttwoindependentreviewsofeachfulllengtharticleandatleastoneforshortreportletters.Weuseadouble-b

13、lindreviewingprocessinwhichauthors*andreviewers*identitiesareconcealed.Ourreviewersareencouragedtoprovidesubstantive,constructivereviewsthatprovidesuggestionsforimprovingtheworkanddistinguishbetweenmandatoryandnon-mandatoryrecommendations.TheEditorsreservetherighttomakeeditorialandliterarycorrection

14、s.Majorrearrangementsorcorrectionswillbemadeonlywiththeapprovalofauthors.Inmostcasestheywillbeofferedasrecommendationstopermitauthorstorewritetheirmaterialinawaythatisacceptabletothejournal.TheEditorialProcessiscollaborativeone.TheEditorswillevaluatethemanuscriptandconsiderthereviewsandformtheirowno

15、pinion.AssumingthemanuscriptisnotrejectedtheEditorwillmakesuggestionstotheauthorabouthowtoimprovethemanuscriptandraisequestionsthatneedtobeanswered.Thesuggestionsarenotbinding.Theauthorsmayhavebetteralternativesorwishtoarguetheirpointofview.Allofthisisdonetoimprovethemanuscriptbeforepublication.Ulti

16、matelytheEditormaynotbesatisfiedbytheresponsesandrevisionsortheauthorsmaynotbepreparedtochangetheirmanuscriptsufficientlytosatisfytheEditor.Inthesecircumstancesmanyhoursmayhavebeenspentandmanyrevisionsmadeonthemanuscriptwhicheventhenisnotaccepted.Thisisariskofthisprocessbutsomethingwetryhardtoavoid.2.2 ArticletypesWeacceptfulllengtharticles,reviewar
