2、tebetterpolicyoptionsforrecovery.Theresearch,fundedbytheCanadianInternationalDevelopmentResearchCentre(IDRC)ztookplaceacross42countriesinAfrica,Asia,LatinAmericaandtheMiddleEast.TheInstituteofDevelopmentStudies(IDS)supportedCOREtomaximisethelearninggeneratedacrosstheresearchportfolioanddeepenengagem

3、entwithgovernments,civilsociety,andthescientificcommunity.Thispublicationcelebratestheimpactofthatresearch,andhighlightsStoriesofChangefromsevenoftheCOREprojectsthatsuccessfullyinfluencedpolicy,practice,andunderstandingsofthecrisis.Collectively,theseindividualcasestudiesprovideanarrativeaboutthenatu

4、reofresearchimpactinemergenciesandtheimplicationsforthedesignanddeliveryoffuturerapidresponseresearchinitiatives.Thereareclearlessonsaroundtheimportanceoforganisationalreputation,andthevalueofco-designingresearchwithdecisionmakerswhilstsimultaneouslytakingacriticalposition.Everystoryhereemphasisesth
