Energyefficiencypoliciesthatprioritisepeoplecanbuildconnectionsbetweenenergyconsumersandtheenergysystemthatservesthem-avitalelementinachievingquickactionandinclusivetransitions. Evolvingenergyefficiencypoliciescanincludeleverstodirect,manageandshapechangesinenergysystems.Inthisreportweidentifytwomaincategoriesofleverstoacceleratecleanenergytransitions:namely,flexibilityleversandengagementlevers. Flexibilityleversaddressaspectsoftheelectricalsystemandthewaysinwhichitcanbeoperatedandengagedwithtoensureaccess,reliability,responsivenessandaffordability.
